Dalou knows only one thing about his deceased father: he was a writer. For that reason, the boy is now working on a book in which he describes the life of his best friend Coco. When the plan seems to succeed, Coco’s jealousy strikes and their friendship is put to the test.

Idriss Nsangou Nabil (1995) took his first steps into the world of film and television at the age of thirteen. Initially working as an actor for a number of years, he gradually shifted his focus towards a role behind the camera. In his early years at the Netherlands Film Academy, where he pursued fiction directing, Idriss crafted a diverse range of films, cultivating a passion for vibrant youth-oriented productions. His third-year film, REVELINHO, made its mark at multiple international film festivals, earning various accolades. As the child of a Cameroonian father and a Dutch mother, Idriss brings forth a tapestry of diverse and colorful characters in his films. Collaborating with young actors, he illuminates serious themes in a playful and positive manner, ensuring the message remains impactful. MOUSTACHE is his debut short film.
